D.VOUR is an Alternative Drag Creature, King, and Visionary.
Born and raised in Wichita, Kansas, D. VOUR is a certified Midwest Cryptid. Their drag aesthetic is inspired by Medieval / Gothic Architecture, theatrical costuming, and the emo / scene culture that they grew up in.
Staying true to their "DIY or Die" slogan, D. VOUR takes pride in being HEAVILY involved in the creation of their costumes, productions, merchandise, branding, etc. D. VOUR is a true DIY Drag Creature, and will take that to the grave. From Hand-tying their own facial hair to drafting sewing patterns, designing concept art, sculpting the details on their armor, and styling their own wigs, they get fulfillment from the kind of artistry that their drag thrives on.
D.VOUR has officially been doing drag for about 2 years now. Their drag origin story began as a younger cosplayer-turned-theatre-kid who wanted to be the actor AND the designer / costumer / choreographer. To this day, D.VOUR's drag keeps those sentiments alive. Now featured on Revry's King of Drag Season 2, D. VOUR has sunk their claws into Drag King history as drag's Insatiable Glampire and Creature Crybaby.
